We built Halo Water Proofing around a simple promise: show up when we say, tell you the truth about what's wrong, and fix it so it stays fixed.
Our Somerville crew leads have handled repairs like yours dozens of times before, and a supervisor signs off before we call any job finished.
We've worked on foundations from decades-old Somerville homes to brand-new builds still settling into their soil, so whatever your basement is dealing with, we've likely seen a version of it nearby.
One phone call gets you a straight answer and a real appointment — not a vague callback promise.
📞 +1-866-476-1348Water problems build slowly before they become emergencies. These are the clues our Somerville crews hear about most.
If the basement smells damp no matter the season, water is likely finding a way in somewhere you can't see.
Stair-step cracking in block foundations is one of the most common early signs our Somerville crews see.
It's easy to mistake efflorescence for harmless dust, but it actually signals active moisture movement.
If your pump only shuts off for a few minutes at a time, it's worth having it checked before it fails outright.
If a foundation wall looks like it's curving inward, that's beyond a simple patch and needs a real assessment.
Peeling paint near the floor upstairs is one of the last signs Somerville homeowners connect to a basement problem.
No two Somerville basements are the same — soil type, age of the home, water table. We match the fix to your actual problem.
A flooded Somerville basement doesn't wait for morning, and neither do we. Our crews extract it fast and start drying the space the same visit.

No verbal number that quietly grows once the truck pulls up — the written quote is the final word.

"Got three quotes for a crack repair. This was the only company that actually explained why the crack was happening instead of just naming a price."
"Our sump pump died during the worst storm of the year, obviously. Battery backup was installed the next day and we haven't worried since."
"Straightforward commercial quote, professional crew, no back and forth."
"Expected a huge bill for three cracks, only one actually needed injection. Appreciated the honesty."
